Teachers and parents - I can bring the following classes to your classroom for only $4 per student/all materials included! ITS LIKE A FIELD TRIP BROUGHT TO YOU! I have a Master's degree in Elementary Ed., am PALS approved for all Sarasota County Schools, and would be happy to provide references.

Students will learn how to recycle waste paper into pulp & back into a beautiful new sheet of paper while learning about the history & process of papermaking. Their new paper will be transformed into a unique card that will be treasured forever!
Funky Loaf Soaps
Students will experience a twist on the "melt & pour" method of soap making and be amazed at how cool, artsy, & colorful soaps can be! Each student will make one "loaf" cut into four mini bars with mini boxes & tags to decorate for special gifts.
(Paper & soap classes run @ 2 - 3 hours depending on class size/ages & are done in small groups as other students work on your class activities. An additional 15 minutes before & after will be needed for set up/clean up. At least one adult volunteer is required.)
Amazing Artists
Students will discover the art and life of an amazing artist through stories, open discussions, & lots of examples. We will discuss relevant art terms, historical/cultural context, & wrap up with an art activity related to the artist. ("Amazing Artists" lasts about 1 1/2 - 2 hours & is done as a whole group. A parent volunteer is helpful but not necessary and access to an active board greatly enhances the experience. Artists to choose from: Georgia O'Keeffe, Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dali, Louis Comfort Tiffany, Henri Matisse, Vincent Van Gogh, Alexander Calder, & Pablo Picasso.)
